It gave me a clearer look at specific welfare rules so I've got a better idea as to how to discuss concerns I may have with a horses wellbeing. This was a great refresher for things I have learnt over the years and definitely invaluable information to know.

Whether it’s ridden, in hand or just general grooming I’ll be looking into the horse’s behaviour and consider why they are behaving like that and help them to the best of my ability or seek help from others who may do it better. There’s a lot that goes into animal welfare and it was good to be able to read up on it in more detail.
