- Nutrition: How to feed a range of different horses - understanding the range of feed options on today's market
- Horse Husbandry: Bits, Tack, Stable Management, Auxiliary Aids
- Yard Management: Stable Environment, Managing Routines, Security, Running a Yard
This course best suits experienced owners who are looking to update or broaden their skills – covering the BHS Stage 2 theory, with some Stage 3 content included, this course builds on the foundations of Introductory Equine Care and Management, offering more comprehensive and in-depth knowledge suited to managing horses at a more competitive or professional level.
Students can expect a thorough and practical learning journey that builds on foundational knowledge, deepening their understanding of horse care, health, feeding, and management.

I have found the course extended my knowledge on things that I already knew and taught me new things. It has also encouraged me to do research into topics which again extends my knowledge. For me personally topics such as land management and yard owner duties have been the most helpful to me.
