The UKRS Certificate in Equestrian Leadership is designed for anyone who currently manages or aspires to manage others in an equestrian setting, as well as anyone wishing to build better professional relationships across the industry.
Course Modules
- Module 1: The Case for Leadership: Explore why people leadership skills are vital for equestrian professionals, their importance to the future of the industry, and why leadership development has historically been a cultural blind spot in the UK.
- Module 2: Self-Leadership & Emotional Intelligence: Examine how individual leadership impacts yards and businesses, while developing emotional intelligence through practical reflection exercises embedded throughout the module.
- Module 3: Leading People with Intention: Apply self-leadership concepts to team management—learning how to cultivate healthy team conditions, focus on people development over task execution, and lead with authenticity and strong core values.

By the end of the course, you will gain practical tools and key insights into your personal leadership style, building the confidence to lead effectively and make a positive impact on both people and horses.
